About the Program

The James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010 established the World Trade Center Health Program. The Program’s primary goals are to provide monitoring and treatment services to eligible WTC responders. Monitoring for WTC-related diseases helps identify medical conditions and symptoms, both chronic and newly emerging. FDNY’s Clinical Center of Excellence (FDNY CCE) is among 7 clinical centers operating under the Act. Data collected will help guide future actions, in an effort to develop a program that evolves with member needs.
